Beth: Just like in the States! That's perfect!

LL: And I recently bought an American-style washer and dryer. Come and see.

I don't need an air conditioner. A fan is just fine.

central air

中央空调

Very few buildings in Taiwan have central air.

洗衣机。dryer (n.) 烘干机

European washers and dryers are more energy-efficient than American ones.
