[00:12.59]Jack: Have you ever been to Japan? I\'m going in the fall.

[00:18.96]Ted: Yeah, I\'ve been there twice.

[00:23.51]Jack: Really? Tell me about it. What\'s it like?

[00:28.58]Ted: Oh, it\'s fantastic.

[00:32.63]Jack: Where did you go?

[00:35.79]Ted: On my first trip I went to Tokyo,and on my second trip I visited Kyoto.

[00:44.04]Jack: What did you think of Tokyo?

[00:47.60]Ted: Very big and exciting, but very crowded, too.

[00:53.55]Jack: Yeah. I\'ve seen pictures of the crowds!

[00:58.12]Ted: And the restaurant are excellent ... but they\'re kind of expensive.

[01:08.44]Ted: Kyoto is lovely. It\'s full of beautiful old temples and gardens.

[01:15.28]It\'s a very historic city.

[01:19.26]Jack: How was the weather?

[01:22.81]Ted: I was in Tokyo in August, and it was really hot and humid.

[01:29.05]I went to Kyoto in October.It was hot and sunny, but there was no humidity.

[01:36.81]Jack: Sounds perfect. I can\'t wait!
