秘书：早上好。留学生办公室。有什么事吗？
Secretary: Good morning, International Students Office. May I help you?

学生：我想找主任谈谈下周我回家的计划。
Student: I’d like to talk to the director about my plan to go home next week.

秘书：你是从英格兰来的吗？
Secretary: Are you one of the students from England?

学生：不是。我是从美国来的。我是去年五月来的。
Student: No. I’m from the United States. I came last May.

秘书：噢。主任下周一能见你。你想上午谈还是下午谈？
Secretary: I see. The director can see you next Monday. Do you prefer morning or afternoon?

学生：最好是上午。
Student: Morning is better for me.

秘书：9点行吗？
Secretary: Would 9:00 be all right?

学生：很好。
Student: That suits me fine.

秘书：那好，星期一上午9点我们等你。
Secretary: Good. We’ll expect you then at 9:00 on Monday morning.

学生：十分感谢。
Student: Thank you very much.
