A：Hi, there… May I help you?

乙：喔，对不起要麻烦你，我的汽车发动不了。你能帮我吗？
B：Oh, I’m sorry to bother you, but my car won’t start. Can you help me?

甲：好的，我们先看看好不好？我试试看。
A：Ah, well, let’s take a look, shall we? let me give it a try .

（几分钟后）
(a few minutes later)

甲：我找到问题所在了。电池的问题。
A：I found the problem,, it seems to be the battery.

乙：现在好了。你开着车稍微转一下，让电池充电。
B：This sounds find now, you let the car drive around a little bit and it’ll charge the battery up.

甲：好的。谢谢你的帮忙。这是给您的。
A：ok. Thank you so much for your help. Here, let me give you this for your trouble.

乙：不，不。有急事时不帮忙，那还要邻居干什么？
B：No, no… what are neighbors for if not to help out in an emerbency?
